🌿“Still Walking: When the Chosen Must Wait”
Faith & Hope
When God calls you, it’s not always followed by clarity. Sometimes He speaks—and then lets you walk in silence.
Think of Joseph.
God gave him a dream, then sent him into a pit. Sold, accused, imprisoned… yet still chosen.
Think of Moses.
He was called to deliver Israel—but spent 40 years in the wilderness before God sent him back.
Think of David.
Anointed as king—then hunted like a criminal. He lived in caves long before he ever sat on a throne.
✦ Chosen Doesn’t Mean Comfortable
God’s promises don’t always come with fast-forward buttons.
In fact, waiting is often the space where faith is refined and trust is proven.
Sometimes it feels like:
“I know what God said… but why isn’t it happening?”
“Why did the call feel so real, but the road feel so hard?”
“Did I miss it?”
You didn’t miss it.
You’re just in the space between the anointing and the appointing.
✦ When the Path is Quiet
In the quiet, God is shaping you. In the confusion, He’s breaking off pride. In the waiting, He’s preparing what your character must carry.
Don’t despise the delay. God doesn’t waste wilderness.
“He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it.” —1 Thessalonians 5:24
đź“– Devotional Reflection:
Isaiah 30:18
“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you… Blessed are all who wait for Him.”
Psalm 27:14
“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord.”
Lamentations 3:25–26
“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
✨ You Are Still Walking
Even when you don’t see the next step.
Even when nothing looks like the promise.
Even when it feels like you're wandering.
You are still chosen, and you are still walking.
Trust the pace of God. He knows how to deliver on every promise.
